About
About PhimosisHelp
A small, independent site for men dealing with a tight foreskin, written in plain language and honest about what home care can and can't do.
Who's behind it
PhimosisHelp was started by a man who lived with phimosis for years before finding a gentle routine that worked for him. He writes as Francesco Bernardi, a pen name, because this is a private subject. He isn't a doctor, and the site never pretends otherwise.
How we write
- Health information is based on public health and hospital sources, listed at the end of every article.
- We say clearly when something is personal experience and when it's medical guidance.
- Every article that involves pulling the foreskin back includes the paraphimosis warning.
- We never tell readers to stretch a child's foreskin.
- Articles are reviewed and updated regularly, and the date is shown at the top.
How the site is funded
The site is funded by sales of our guide. Some pages may include affiliate links to products. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and we'll always label them.
